Is there anything wrong with my baby?

My 3 month old son seems sleep alot recently and tugs his ear when he gets to sleep. He gets irritable easily and starts with grizzly cries + jerky arm&leg movements when he's tired. He won't let me feed him and keeps rolling over from front to back. The grizzling will become scream crying. I don't know if he's tired or bored but he can only play for a little while before getting grumpy again. His daily naps only can last for 1 hour or less and he keeps waking up during the night for feeding. I thought it might be the time to give him solids but he doesn't like baby rice and stuff. I was just wondering whether I should continue giving him solids(such as fruits) while he poos alot or whether there is something wrong with my baby (such as ear infection)? He was very good and didn't cry a lot. I am quite concerned. Any suggestions would be great!! Thanks!!
