I have been told that the Old Testament is for the Jews and the New Testament is for Christians..... How ....?

I think people say those things so they can get away with having to deal with the truth. The whole bible is all very important and all pertains to us today. The bible was made as guidance for us. God has put his entire salvation plan in the bible from the beginning to the end. He just didn't open up our eyes to the end until about 3 years ago. May 21 2011 is the last day of his salvation plan. You can only get the truths by reading the entire bible. If you are only listening to part of the bible you aren't getting the whole truths.
