Pain on lateral, posterior region of the knee... MD didn't care.?

You dont meantion your age or occupation. I was a cashier for many years, over wieght also. To make long story short my pain got so bad I was going home in tears of pain and cold not walk in house. Finally got DR to send me for XRAYS and it is ostoarthris, one knee very advanced other just starting. IM not saying thats you , but calcium,,Omega 3 has helped me greatly. and I have cut back pain pills but had to stop work So suggest xray OR go to another DR.
