Government killings?

Have you read Stephen King's book The Stand? Biological warfare isn't new, I wouldn't be surprised if you are right. I believe some of the illnesses are just because of cross contamination, like people not washing their hands and then handling food, but some of the illnesses are strange. My dh's theory is that because health care is better, we are living longer, and therefore illnesses that never had a chance to take hold, because we were dying of other things at earlier ages, are now beginning to be prevalent. As far as using disease as population control, I think the war in Iraq is serving in that capacity. After all, very few of the bigwigs in government have any children over there.
