Dont answer this unless you dogsled?

If you keep them in a barn you should divide it into pens for no more than 2 dogs each. That wiull prevent them from ganging up against one dog. It also keeps them more secure. Picture them all loose in the barn. You open the door to go in and they all escape at once. I wouldn't want to be in that situation. Another consideration is what does your barn have for a floor. If its wood it will get ruined. A cement floor is hard on the dog's feet. A dirt floor with good drainage is the way to go.
